Brad Sewell, you don’t fake free kicks, and you are always in the rough hard stuff being battered every week, not on the outside running through players. (more…)

Luke, you said that you have 150 good reasons to re-sign, there’s one little reason too.  You both looked so cute running out for your 150th game.  Lucky I took this photo because I raced home to watch it on the replay and they didn’t show it.

Life is great when your team has a win. (more…)

2937_Gnome09_thumbSometimes we want our team to win so badly, but it doesn’t work out that way.   The game started well, especially as Sewell kicked a goal from a set shot.  But it just didn’t happen for us. (more…)

HOdgeSwan246AAAnother win to the Hawks as they turned an 11-point half-time deficit into a 45-point win.
They  outscored the Pies 13 goals to four in the second-half to keep their finals hopes well and truly alive with an 18.13 (121) to 11.10 (76) win. (more…)

Sewell246Not the best of weekends for the Hawks. I could not believe that first half.

Brad Sewell said that he was stunned.   I think every Hawthorn supporter was too.   But there is always next week, and who would have thought that last year they would have given us such a wonderful time.  We will be back, even if it is not this year.
