So I wake up the morning and it is going to be my fault that there will be a problem in the auto industry.  We will have to use our ever reducing superannuation to live on instead of buying a new car, that is after our generation has paid off their kids outstanding credit car debts, etc.

Article: the Vancouver Sun: Age boomers may stall auto industry.

As the auto industry gets a much-needed boost, buoyed by demand for new cars in growing markets such as China, a new report warns that the retirement of the baby-boom generation will hurt sales in North America over the coming decades.

“Growth in the vehicle-buying population is set to slow to the slowest pace in more than 50 years,” Carlos Gomes, a senior economist with Scotia Economics said in a news release. (more…)

Grandparent Care Linked to Obesity

Oh no, if I was a grandparent, it would be my fault for the kids obesity.   Give the grandparents time off, stop wanting they to babysit all of the time and look after your own kids, you wanted them.  Before you drop them off before work, prepare their food, might make life a bit earlier, especially to my grandparent neighbours who are up at 6:00 and on the road to babysit many days of the week.

Friendly Morning Meeting

I met with DMC and family for the first training session of the new year.   As we are both Brad Sewell fans, we had a great time.

I tweeted training photos from the iphone and at the end of the session actually had a few words and a photo signed by Brad. I am campaigning for more kids to wear the number 12.

A lovely relaxing morning without a care in the world, just they way it should be.
